* Until 800 AM CDT.

* At 453 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rainfall has
ended. However due to saturated soils…earlier rainfall continues
to run off and will cause flooding of streams and creeks as well as
other low lying and poor drainage areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Mineral Wells, Graford and Possum Kingdom State Park.
Instruction: Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. Water
rises will generally be gradual, but flooding of some low water
crossings and other low-lying areas near rivers, creeks, and streams
is expected.
