* Until 1015 AM CDT.

* At 716 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rainfall has come
to an end. However, between one and four inches has fallen from
overnight thunderstorms. Due to saturated soils already in place
…earlier rainfall continues to run off and will cause flooding
of small streams and creeks, as well as other low lying and poor
drainage areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Euless, Bedford,
Haltom City, Hurst, Burleson, Cleburne, Benbrook, Crowley, Forest
Hill, Granbury, Richland Hills, Kennedale, Everman, Keene, Joshua
and Alvarado.
Instruction: If roadways are barricade, or have water running over them, turn
around, don’t drown!! Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from overnight heavy rainfall has caused flooding
of small creeks and streams, low spots in urban areas, highways,
streets and underpasses, as well as other drainage areas and low
lying spots.
