The Flood Warning continues for
The Solomon River near Niles.
* until Thursday morning.
* At 9:30 AM Monday the stage was 24.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast…The river will continue rising to near 26.0 feet by
early Wednesday morning. The river will fall below flood stage
Wednesday before midnight.
* Impact…At 24.0 feet…Low land flooding continues along the
river.
Instruction: Safety Message…Do not drive into flooded areas. Shallow flowing
water can wash a car from the roadway. Also, the roadbed may be
washed out under the water.
