Description: The National Weather Service in Louisville has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of Indiana and north central
Kentucky, including the following areas, in Indiana, Jefferson,
Orange, Scott and Washington. In north central Kentucky, Trimble.

* Until 10 AM EDT this morning

* Showers and thunderstorms continue across portions of the region
this morning. Local flash flooding may result in areas that see
repeated storms.

* Watch for fast rises of area creeks/streams, and water collecting
on roadways. Low lying areas and poor drainage will also quickly
flood with intense rainfall rates.
Instruction: A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to
Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You
should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should
Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
